Pa's Place at Summerlea Farm is a quiet country retreat for couples and the solo traveller looking to pause, relax and enjoy the stillness of a rural setting.
The house blends old and new, with touches of comfort and traditional country generosity. Relax in the private hot tub as you take in the wide open landscape, abundant birdlife and brilliant star-filled skies. Free from TV and wifi, Pa's place invites you to switch off, enjoy simple food and music, and embrace the slower pace.
Bath/Tub/Spa Experience: Our outdoor hot tub is a stoked 2-3 person hot tub, stainless steel with timber cladding. Positioned to feel like you're in the paddock but close enough to the house to enjoy the comforts of your stay.
Indoor/Outdoor/Both: Outside with sweeping views of the valley framed by paddocks and bushland. Early morning and evening fog rolls in as wildlife and resident birds go about their business. The most traffic you'll be aware of is the satellites crossing the sky.
Pet Friendly: We are a working farm with cattle either side of the fence so pets are not permitted.
Welcome packs: Platters or meal packages and farm experiences available by arrangement.
Firepit: Farm experiences include a tour of the property and river regeneration area, cattle interaction, and a seasonal food experience with local wine around the fire pit at our private picnic spot.
