Tubs of Tasmania
August 10, 2026

Tubs of Tasmania has been featured on Discover Tasmania, Tourism Tasmania's official visitor site, in its story on the island's outdoor baths. The piece moves from the Blue Tier to King Island, taking in deep stone tubs, cedar barrels, a lakeside soak at Lake St Clair and a floating sauna at Derby, before pointing readers towards the Tub Trail for the many more baths waiting across the state.
Being named as home to Australia's first Tub Trail on the state's official tourism platform is a quiet confirmation of something we have believed from the beginning, that the bath is worth planning a trip around.

Our thanks to the team at Tourism Tasmania for the recognition, and to every operator whose tub keeps drawing travellers a little further off the highway.
